Bob Faith, the founder, chairman, and CEO of the global real estate firm Greystar, has been named to Forbes’ “World’s Billionaire List,” which highlights the richest people around the globe. He ranks No. 511 on the list with a net worth of $5.8 billion, but his real-time net worth ranking recently climbed to No. 505. In 2023, Faith also ranked No. 182 on the Forbes 400 Richest People in America list.
For three decades, Faith has overseen all aspects of Greystar, which he founded in 1993, including organizational structure, strategic planning, and company growth. He received his bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and an MBA from Harvard Business School. From 2002-06, Faith served as the South Carolina secretary of commerce.
The top spot on the Forbes list went to French fashion and retail mogul Bernard Arnault and family, who have a net worth of $233 billion. Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos, both Americans, came in second and third, respectively, with net worths of $195 billion and $194 billion.
