Katy Perry has officially exited from her role as a judge on “American Idol” as she announced that she will not be returning next season. Perry recently made her final appearance on the show, marking the end of her seven-season run as a judge. Prior to this, she walked the runway at Vogue World: Paris wearing a daring black dress designed by Noir Kei Ninomiya.
During the fashion show in Paris, Perry stole the spotlight in a revealing dress that featured strategic cut-outs and delicate pink and black tulle on the skirt. She led a marching band down the runway while getting some walking tips from FKA Twigs and Cara Delevingne. Perry is known for her bold fashion choices and this appearance was no exception, with her sleek black hair and lace-up boot heels completing the edgy look.
In addition to her runway appearance, Perry recently announced the release of her new single, “Woman’s World,” set to debut on July 11, along with a new album to follow her 2020 release, “Smile.” Her departure from “American Idol” was a bittersweet moment as she expressed her desire to travel and focus on creating new music.
