Check out the lineup of speakers for Aspen Ideas: Health

The Aspen Institute has announced eight new speakers who will be participating in its upcoming Aspen Ideas: Health gathering in June. These speakers are joining the three-day convention that will take place on the main Aspen Institute campus. With over 150 leaders in various fields such as health care, public health, policy, business, and technology, the event will focus on discussing intersectional and innovative approaches to tackling the leading challenges in health, medicine, and science.

The newly announced speakers for Aspen Ideas: Health include Vivek Murthy, the U.S. Surgeon General, Mandy Cohen, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Anne Wojcicki, co-founder and CEO of 23andMe, Peter Lee, president of Microsoft Research, Laura Deming, partner and founder of The Longevity Fund, Malama Tafuna’i, primary care physician and senior professional practice fellow at Va’a o Tautai — Centre for Pacific Health at the University of Otago, Barbara Natterson-Horowitz, professor of medicine at the UCLA School of Medicine and author of “Zoobiquity: The Astonishing Connection Between Human and Animal Health”, and Joshua Roan, cellist, composer, and creator of the Immunity Project.

Aspen Ideas: Health is scheduled to take place from June 20-23, leading into the Aspen Ideas Festival, which is the Aspen Institute’s flagship summer convening and will run from June 23-29. Participants can expect engaging discussions and insights from a diverse range of speakers, including previously announced individuals such as Jane Fonda and Bill Maher.
