Chelsea have shown interest in signing Leicester City midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who Brighton is also keen to acquire. Brighton is considering a cash-plus-player swap deal involving Poland midfielder Jakub Moder, who is open to making the move. However, Chelsea’s recent inquiry may complicate matters for Brighton as Dewsbury-Hall might prefer a move to Chelsea.

Chelsea is confident that Dewsbury-Hall would prefer a move to their club, as they can offer the opportunity to work with manager Enzo Maresca. Maresca, who helped deliver Leicester’s Championship title and promotion last season, has recently joined Chelsea. Dewsbury-Hall has expressed his love for his boyhood club Leicester City in an interview with BBC Sport, stating that he has been with the club since he was a child and is happy there.

Leicester City, under new manager Steve Cooper, are facing challenges with Premier League profit and sustainability rules and may need to sell academy graduate Dewsbury-Hall to comply with regulations. In addition to Chelsea and Brighton, Brentford has also shown interest in the midfielder. Dewsbury-Hall’s future remains uncertain as the transfer season progresses.
