Cherokee Veterans and brothers David and Larry King recently opened a new pawn shop in Muldrow, Oklahoma, with the goal of helping their community in any way they can. The brothers, who both served in Iraq, credit their military experience with preparing them to run a business such as this. Larry explained that their close-knit family dynamic makes working together a smooth and successful process.
The community’s support has been overwhelming, with many people eagerly anticipating the shop’s opening. According to David, locals have been stopping by while they set up the shop, asking when they will be open and expressing excitement for the new venture. The brothers hope that their pawn shop will inspire other business owners and serve as a resource for those looking to start their own businesses.
Located at 909 E. Shawntel Smith Blvd, Suite A, in Muldrow, Muldrow Pawn is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays. David emphasized the importance of saving money and being financially conscious in order to successfully run a business, and both brothers are committed to supporting others in their entrepreneurial endeavors.
