College of Engineering & Applied Science alum Satya Nadella receives additional praise

Microsoft Chairman and CEO Satya Nadella has been named one of Time magazine’s 100 Most Influential People of 2024. In the special Time100 issue, leaders in a recipient’s field write short essays about them. Nadella’s essayist, Mellody Hobson, co-CEO and president of Ariel Investments, praises his role as a steward of artificial intelligence, highlighting his thoughtfulness and humility in ensuring its safe use.

Nadella’s accolades continue to grow, with CNN Business naming him its CEO of the Year for 2023 in January. Time also recognized Microsoft as one of the 100 most influential companies of 2023 in July of the previous year. These honors reflect Nadella’s leadership and impact in the technology industry.
