Comedy Dynamics Acquires Tony Rock’s Special ‘Rock The World’

Comedy Dynamics has revealed the acquisition of Tony Rock’s debut special, “Rock the World,” which is set to be released later this year. Tony Rock decided to take a break from his “Rock The Mic Comedy Tour” to film the special at The Long Beach Laugh Factory. In this special, he provides a new and humorous perspective on post-pandemic life, discussing topics such as Black culture, gender, and relationships.

Directed by Sam Brownfield, “Rock the World” has Dana Marshall and Charleston Rock as its producers. Tony Rock shared his excitement about the project, stating that it has been a significant effort that he is extremely proud of. Brian Volk-Weiss, the Founder and CEO of Comedy Dynamics, expressed his thrill to be working with Tony Rock on this project.

Known for his work as a comedian, actor, and producer, Tony Rock has been active in the stand-up comedy scene since the late ’90s. He is recognized as the younger brother of famous comedian Chris Rock and has appeared in various TV series and films. Rock is also involved in hosting duties for several programs and runs the MyROCK Diabetes Foundation, a charity organization in honor of his father.

Comedy Dynamics, a prominent comedy production company, has previously worked with various well-known comedians such as Ali Wong, Tiffany Haddish, and Kevin Hart. In addition to stand-up specials, they have worked on various film and TV projects, including Netflix’s Emmy-winning series “Down to Earth with Zac Efron.” Tony Rock is represented by Independent Artist Group and Authentic Talent and Literary Management.
