Monmouth Medical Center, a part of RWJBarnabas Health, is currently assessing the healthcare needs of residents in Monmouth County for the 2024-2025 Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA). This assessment is part of a larger initiative by RWJBarnabas Health, which involves collaboration with health coalition partners, local health centers, county and local health departments, as well as other healthcare institutions and community organizations.

The goal of this assessment is to gather information about the needs and strengths of the community and its residents. By understanding the social, economic, and health concerns of the community, particularly among underserved populations, the results will shape the programs and services provided by Monmouth Medical Center and its partners. Past survey results have led to the development of various initiatives, such as smoking prevention campaigns, healthy cooking classes, transportation options, and mental health training for first responders.

Monmouth Medical Center is seeking broad participation from individuals of all ethnicities, religions, and backgrounds across all local communities. The survey is open to anyone aged 18 and older, in multiple languages including Arabic, simplified Chinese, English, Haitian Creole, Hindi, Portuguese, Spanish, and Yiddish. The survey is confidential, takes about 15 minutes to complete, and can be accessed online until September.

For more information or to participate in the survey, individuals can contact Kathy Horan at 732-923-6632 or email Kathy.Horan@rwjbh.org.
