An Oakland pizzeria that was facing closure has been saved thanks to community support. Philomena, which opened in 2016, has been struggling with rising food costs and was in danger of shutting down. In order to stay in business, the restaurant issued a letter to customers asking for help.

The pizzeria, known for its delicious pizza, asked its loyal fans to support them in various ways. Customers were encouraged to dine in, order directly from the restaurant, purchase gift cards, celebrate at the restaurant, order catering services, order from the new location, and complete a survey.

The response from the community was overwhelmingly positive. The restaurant expressed gratitude on Instagram, thanking the community for its support. The restaurant recognized the importance of community in keeping them afloat and expressed heartfelt appreciation for their customers.

The original location of Philomena is at 1801 14th Avenue, while the new location is at 5333 Adeline Street. The new location does not have a dining room, but customers are still able to pick up orders. Thanks to the support of the community, Philomena is able to keep its doors open and continue serving its delicious pizza to customers.
