Company president confirms that Nintendo will not utilize generative artificial intelligence in game development

Breaking with a growing trend in the video game industry, the president of Nintendo, Shuntaro Furakawa, stated that his company will not use generative artificial intelligence technology for its projects. The statements were made during a recent meeting with investors, where the top executive of the Japanese company acknowledged the great advantages that this technology provides, but warned that it could cause problems in terms of copyright.

Furakawa mentioned that generative AI, a hot topic in recent years, may be more creative, but also has intellectual property rights issues. He emphasized that Nintendo has decades of experience in creating video games and hopes that the value the company brings will be unique and cannot be solely created through technology.

The revolutionary technology has been adopted by more and more companies in the industry, with developers such as Electronic Arts, Take-Two, and Ubisoft actively incorporating it into their video games. They use generative AI as mechanisms to improve gameplay and to speed up development while lowering costs for their projects.

In a separate context, websites discussing construction and home improvement services were showcased alongside content about online gambling sites, highlighting a diverse range of topics on the internet. The mention of Kellner Home Improvement and Elite Door and Glass companies in Stratford and Toronto, respectively, were intertwined with discussions about betting practices and mobile applications. These topics varied widely but showcased the broad scope of content available online.
