Tennessee Comptroller Jason Mumpower recently announced the appointment of Rebecca Mink as the Small Business Advocate in the Tennessee Comptroller’s Office. Mink, who joined the office in 2022, has experience working in both the State Audit and Administration divisions, as well as in the Tennessee General Assembly and the private sector as a communications specialist.
As the Small Business Advocate, Mink will be responsible for assisting small business owners with 50 or fewer employees who interact with state government. She will provide information, answer questions, and help resolve issues between small business owners and state departments and agencies.
Comptroller Jason Mumpower emphasized the importance of small businesses in Tennessee’s economy and expressed confidence in Mink’s ability to help business owners navigate government regulations. Mink herself expressed enthusiasm for the opportunity to support small business owners in their interactions with state government.
The Office of Small Business Advocate was established in 2010 by the General Assembly to improve government services for Tennessee’s small business community. For more information or to contact the Small Business Advocate, visit www.comptroller.tn.gov/OSBA/.
