The event called Shadow of the Frozen Throne has brought the powerful Frostmourne blade, belonging to the feared Lich King, into Sanctuary. This blade has the ability to bolster Diablo’s strength with undead threats emerging from frost-laden portals. The collision of sinister forces from two different universes has created havoc that must be dealt with. As an adventurer, it is up to you to confront and defeat these dangers in the Diablo Immortal® x World of Warcraft® collaboration.
During the event, Menacing Frozen Gates have appeared throughout Sanctuary, with their icy presence striking fear in those who see them. From July 4 to July 26, you must locate these portals, brave the cold by entering them, and defeat the invaders within. A new power called Chill of the Frozen Throne will be accessible to you as you navigate this icy realm. By defeating monsters, you can increase your damage output and summon undead warriors to aid you in battle.
By participating in the event and logging into Diablo Immortal, you can earn the Icecrown Frame, and completing the event will reward you with the Frostmourne Weapon Cosmetic. Make sure to keep the Frostmourne blade fed with souls to unlock its full potential. Additionally, with any real money purchase in Diablo Immortal, you can receive a World of Warcraft-inspired Icecrown Pathway Portal until July 26. This portal can be redeemed in-game or through Battle.net, with one per character allowed. The portal will become available for redemption on July 11.
