Construction work has begun at the entrance of the Five Below store on Vineyard Drive in the town of Dunkirk. The property is owned by Benderson Developments. It was previously unclear what was happening near the old Tops store in the city of Dunkirk, but Dunkirk City Law Enforcement Officer Ryan Moeller informed the city council that the construction work is for the entrance of a future Five Below store.

Deputy secretary Kyle Coughlin acknowledged the suspicions of various board members, and it was confirmed that the building in question is owned by Benderson Development. The store will be located adjacent to the Harbor Freight Quality Tools store on Vineyard Drive, in the square of the former Tops store. There are also a variety of other local businesses in the area, including Kirk’s Jewelers and the new Tops store across the street.
