Antonio Conte, the former manager of Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, has signed a three-year contract to become the new manager of Napoli. This comes after his departure from Spurs in March 2023. Despite a challenging time at Tottenham, Conte has a successful coaching career, including winning the Premier League and FA Cup with Chelsea.

Conte expressed his excitement about leading Napoli and emphasized his commitment to the team’s growth and success. As a highly decorated coach, Conte has a track record of winning titles, including guiding Inter Milan to a Serie A title in 2021 and Juventus to three consecutive Serie A titles between 2011-2014.

Napoli, who won their first Serie A title in 33 years last season, have struggled in recent times and finished tenth in the league this season. This led to the appointment of Francesco Calzona as a short-term manager until the end of the season after sacking Walter Mazzarri just three months into his role.

With Conte at the helm, Napoli will be looking to return to their winning ways and compete for top honors in Italian football once again. His experience and success in the past make him a valuable addition to the team as they aim to climb back up the Serie A standings.
