The trailer for Continent has been released ahead of its world premiere at the Munich International Film Festival. This horror-drama is a co-production between Brazil, France, and Argentina and is written and directed by Davi Pretto.

The film follows Amanda, a woman returning to her isolated village in Brazil as her father is dying. As she uncovers a mysterious secret held by the villagers, she becomes entangled in a strange inheritance. Tensions rise as Amanda is warned to leave the village, as it is causing harm to her.

Continent is Pretto’s third feature film, with his fourth, Future Future, already completed and in post-production. The film stars Olivia Torres, Ana Flavia Cavalcanti, Corentin Fila, and Breno De Filipo. It was shot in Brazil and is in Portuguese and French languages. Vulcana Cinema is the main producer, with Dublin Films, Murillo Cine, and Pasto as co-production partners. Sales are handled by Italy-based Lights On.
