Coty Schock suffers wrist injury during training incident

Coty Schock suffered a broken left wrist in a training accident at ClubMX and had to undergo surgery to repair the damage. In an Instagram post, Schock expressed his disappointment but remained optimistic about his recovery. He mentioned that he is unsure about when he will be able to return to racing but is determined to bounce back. Despite the setback, Schock is in good spirits and determined to keep pushing forward.

During an interview on Race Day Live, Schock mentioned that he feels like he is three weeks post-surgery. Currently tied with Haiden Deegan for fourth place in the 250 East points standings, Schock is eager to make a comeback once he fully recovers.

In 2024, Schock had a remarkable season despite facing challenges such as a broken collarbone. He managed to finish third in the 250 Supercross East championship and even continued racing days after undergoing surgery. While his Pro Motocross Championship results have been mixed, Schock has shown resilience by consistently earning points in most races.

Currently ranked 11th in the SuperMotocross World Championship (SMX), Schock holds a significant points advantage over riders lower in the standings. With 14 motos left in the season, he is poised to secure a spot in the SMX playoffs in September. Schock’s determination and commitment to racing are evident in his quick return to the track following surgery.

Amidst other updates in the motocross world, Cooper Webb and Max Anstie have had recent developments in their racing careers. Washougal is set to host a Military Appreciation round, and several riders are making transitions to new teams. With the motocross season in full swing, fans can expect more exciting news and updates from the world of supercross and motocross racing.
