The Arizona Cardinals are counting down the days to the start of the 2024 NFL season as they move closer to their opening game against the Buffalo Bills in 93 days at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York. Newcomer Justin Jones, who wears the No. 93 jersey, is expected to make a significant impact as a defensive lineman this season. Signed to a three-year free agent deal during the offseason, Jones is known for his abilities both against the run and as a pass rusher, having recorded 4.5 sacks and 17 quarterback hits in 2023.

The last player to wear the No. 93 jersey for the Cardinals was defensive lineman Jonathan Ledbetter. Unfortunately, Ledbetter tore his ACL at the end of last season and is currently unsigned. During his time with the team, he developed into an every-game starter and made an impact on the field with 46 tackles and 1.5 sacks in his final season. Additionally, Ledbetter was recognized for his community work and named the 2023 Walter Payton Man of the Year for the Cardinals.

While the Cardinals have had other notable players wear the No. 93 jersey, such as Calais Campbell, Kyle Vanden Bosch, and Mark Smith, Ledbetter was the most recent to leave a lasting impact on the team.
