The Southeastern Louisiana University baseball team’s final Southland Conference Series game against the Houston Christians at Husky Field has been canceled due to persistent rain. Unfortunately, the game will not be rescheduled. The team will now return home to face South Alabama in a non-conference contest at alumni field Pat Kennelly Diamond at 6 p.m. This game marks the end of the regular season.
On May 20th, the team played against Northwestern State University. Matt Reiser’s Inside Southeastern Baseball from Cretin Townsend Holmes will air its next episode on Monday at 12:00 pm from the Kate Street Seafood Station in downtown Hammond. It’s recommended that fans purchase tickets in advance to minimize queues on match days. Southeastern students should contact the box office before the game to pre-book.
General admission tickets to most games are $9 for adults and $6 for youth (ages 3-12). Southeastern students with a college ID and children under the age of 2 are admitted free. On game days, parking costs $5 per day for standard vehicles and $25 per day for RVs. The Pat Kennelly Diamond ticket booth at Alumni Field opens exactly one hour before the scheduled first pitch. Southeastern uses mobile his tickets as the primary method of distributing tickets purchased online. Tickets are available via text message or his email in PDF format, and fans can download them to their phones or print them at home. Tickets can also be downloaded to Apple Wallet.
