Cyber Capacity Building Conference

The National Conference for the Creation of a Cyber Capacity Building Ecosystem was organized and promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation together with the Agency for National Cybersecurity. The conference took place on Tuesday, July 2, with opening remarks from the Vice President of the Council and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. Antonio Tajani, the Minister of the Interior Matteo Piantedosi, and the Director General of the Agency for National Cybersecurity Bruno Frattasi. The goal of the conference was to establish a systemic approach with key Italian players in the cybersecurity sector to create an ecosystem capable of competing internationally.

During the conference, HWG Sababa showcased its expertise, experience, and know-how to institutional and private stakeholders. The company shared approaches, services, and products tailored to different markets and scenarios, offering valuable insights for enhancing the country’s cybersecurity capabilities. HWG Sababa highlighted its activities in South America, Asia, and the Middle East, focusing on cybersecurity systems provided to sixteen central banks in emerging countries and collaborations with universities, research centers, and competence centers.

Alessio Aceti, CEO of HWG Sababa, emphasized the company’s role in supporting cyber skills development and the implementation of security operation center processes and systems. Aceti mentioned HWG Sababa’s expertise in implementing protection systems, managing access, designing OT solutions for critical infrastructure protection, and providing training and skills transfer activities to local teams within institutions and consulting companies.

The company’s efforts to enhance cybersecurity on a global scale were commended by attendees, who acknowledged HWG Sababa’s contributions to strengthening the country’s cybersecurity ecosystem. Aceti’s speech underscored the importance of building cyber skills and promoting security best practices to tackle emerging cybersecurity challenges effectively. By sharing its expertise and knowledge, HWG Sababa aims to empower organizations and individuals to navigate the complex cybersecurity landscape and safeguard critical assets against cyber threats.
