Several Mid-Hudson libraries are part of the “Digital Navigators of the Hudson Valley” program, providing free technological assistance to those in need. Trained guides, known as digital navigators, are available in member libraries to help with a variety of tasks. These tasks include using a device, securing internet service, completing online job applications, applying for services, accessing educational resources, signing up for free phone programs, and handling online bill payments.

In Ulster County, five libraries are participating in the program: Kingston Library, Elting Memorial Library, Plattekill Library, Town of Ulster Public Library, and Woodstock Public Library. Additionally, in Dutchess County, digital navigators can be found at Red Hook Library.

Individuals looking for assistance from a digital navigator can visit one of the libraries listed above. For a comprehensive list of libraries and organizations offering digital navigator services in the region, visit hvconnected.org.
