It was later reported that Prescott is wearing the boot due to a foot sprain, although it is not considered to be a serious issue.
The exact timing of when Prescott suffered the injury is unclear, but it does add another layer of uncertainty heading into training camp. Prescott had a fractured right ankle in the 2020 season and missed a game in 2021 due to a calf injury, but did not have any known issues during the 2023 season.
