Damian Priest Shares Health Update After WWE Clash at the Castle

At the 2024 Clash at the Castle premium live event, Damian Priest successfully defended his WWE World Heavyweight Championship with the help of CM Punk. However, after the match, Priest was seen limping, sparking concerns about a potential foot or leg injury. During the post-show press conference for Clash at the Castle, Priest addressed his health status.

Priest expressed that his ankle felt terrible and that he had not yet received medical attention so he could speak with the press and address any questions. Despite the discomfort, Priest assured everyone that he was not going anywhere and had managed to defeat Drew McIntyre with only one foot, indicating that he was ready to continue competing.

The speculation about Priest’s injury arose during a moment in the match where he attempted an over-the-top-rope dive onto his opponent, Drew McIntyre. Unfortunately, Priest’s leg slipped between the ropes, causing him to fall awkwardly with his foot caught. McIntyre quickly intervened, helping to free Priest and then engaging in a physical confrontation.

Later in the match, CM Punk made a surprise appearance as a WWE referee, distracting McIntyre and allowing Priest to secure the victory with a South of Heaven move. This strategic move by Punk ultimately worked in Priest’s favor and led to his successful title defense.

Overall, the event showcased the drama and excitement of WWE competition, with twists and turns that kept fans on the edge of their seats.
