Davie man fatally shot outside Miramar business complex

A 58-year-old man from Davie has sadly passed away following a shooting outside of a Miramar business on Tuesday morning. Another individual was also injured in the incident, and the shooter is still at large. Miramar Police responded to a business complex on Enterprise Way around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, where they discovered two employees from one of the businesses had been injured.

The deceased man has been identified as Devon Blake, although it is unclear when he passed away at the hospital. The other injured individual’s identity and gender have not been released, but they are reported to be in stable condition following the shooting. It is also unknown if the individual is still hospitalized, as updates on their condition have not been provided.

The shooter, described as a 6-foot-tall individual wearing an orange shirt, dark pants, sneakers, a mask covering his face, and sunglasses, managed to flee the scene. The direction in which he escaped is unknown at this time. As the investigation continues, Miramar Police have not released any further information.
