Delay in the opening of Miami-Dade’s new mental health facility

In an extraordinary hearing held in Miami Federal Court, a judge questioned Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava about the delayed opening of a promised Mental Health facility. Despite the county’s assurances, the facility remains closed. CBS News Miami’s Jim DeFede spoke with a Miami Herald reporter who was present in the courtroom to provide a firsthand account of what occurred during the hearing where cameras were not allowed.
