Director of Student Health at FSU Recognized on ‘40 Under 40’ List

Chelsea Collins, the Director of Health at Fairmont State University, has been recognized as a Generation Next: 40 Under 40 finalist for her significant impact on student health and community wellness efforts. Collins was honored at an award ceremony held at the Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center on June 19. The award acknowledges professionals in West Virginia who have made positive contributions to their industries and communities.

Collins has made remarkable achievements at the university, including enhancing the FSU Student Health Center, organizing a Stomp Out the Stigma event to raise awareness about suicide prevention, launching the Falcon Mental Health Awareness program, and hosting campus wellness fairs to promote health and well-being. She credits her success to the values instilled by her parents and the support of her colleagues at Fairmont State.

In a statement, Collins expressed gratitude for being recognized as a leader among her peers in West Virginia and emphasized her commitment to supporting the growth and well-being of Fairmont State University students.
