M&L Industries, a Houma industrial equipment provider, is in the process of expanding its operations in Baton Rouge and relocating to a more prominent location. Owner Steven Marmande stated that the company is set to move to a new facility near the intersection of Interstate 10 and Siegen Lane by July. The new 47,000 square foot building located at 10049 N. Rieger Road will be approximately double the size of M&L’s current location on Airline Highway. With 23 employees currently in Baton Rouge, Marmande anticipates hiring an additional 5 to 8 workers due to the move. M&L specializes in the sales, rentals, and servicing of tractors and forklifts, with Faulk & Meek serving as the general contractor for the new location.
