Dive into the future of AI and technology in a special limited-series podcast now streaming on KUNC

Starting on May 24, KUNC will be airing 10 episodes of the podcast Possible, which focuses on AI and the future of technology. Hosted by Reid Hoffman and Aria Finger, Possible explores an optimistic vision of the future and what steps we need to take to make it a reality. The podcast poses the question: what if everything goes right for humanity in the future?

Possible provides listeners with both grounded and speculative perspectives on how technology, especially AI, is driving change and shaping the future. Each episode features interviews with innovators and thought leaders across various topics, such as art, geopolitics, healthcare, and education. These discussions also incorporate AI tools like Inflection’s Pi and OpenAI’s ChatGPT to enhance and propel the conversation forward.

The first episode, airing on Friday, May 24 at 8 p.m., will feature Trevor Noah discussing the future of AI in entertainment. Noah will even review jokes generated by AI during the episode. Possible will continue to air every Friday on 91.5 KUNC at 8 p.m. until July 26. Listeners can tune in on the radio or stream episodes on KUNC’s website.

Throughout the series, there will be a lineup of impressive guests and topics covered, including Dr. Kim Budil on the future of fusion, Saul Griffith on a clean energy future, and Ben Nelson on the future of higher education. Other episodes will explore the future of cities, criminal justice, work, AI, space exploration, and trusted information. Each episode promises to offer insights and inspiration for what is possible when we harness technology and collective effort effectively.
