The police in Hamminkeln, NRW are currently searching for two unidentified women and their three dogs after one of the dogs allegedly bit a 9-year-old girl on the thigh and bottom. The incident occurred in the fairytale forest on Krechtinger Straße on Wednesday, March 20, around 4 p.m. The girls were playing when the women and their dogs approached, with the animals running freely before one of them bit the girl.
After the incident, the girls ran to a nearby friend’s house to report what had happened. The parents of the girls arrived at the scene with dogs, but the women and their dogs were nowhere to be found. It has been reported that one of the dogs involved is a Shiba Inu.
Despite initial investigations, the police have not made any progress in locating the women and their dogs. They are now seeking witnesses or any information that could help identify the dogs and their owners. Anyone with information is urged to contact the police in Wesel at 0281/107-0.
