An arrest has been made in connection to a vandal who targeted numerous cars and shops along a well-known road in Long Beach. According to the Long Beach Police Department, more than 25 cars and seven businesses were damaged in the East Village area. Officers responded to reports of smashed windows in businesses and cars on a Friday morning.

The cars with damaged windows were all parked in a parking structure near a Chase bank. A building manager mentioned that a surveillance camera from an apartment complex captured footage of a man vandalizing the property. This incident was not the first of its kind, as the manager stated that similar events have been happening for the past three years.

Joe Harding, another building manager in Long Beach, explained that broken windows and businesses shutting down for the night have become a common occurrence in the area. People in the neighborhood are constantly worried about being victims of vandalism and often check for any possible security footage to assist with insurance claims.

The Long Beach Police Department confirmed that one person was arrested for the vandalism, but did not provide further details about the suspect or the charges they may be facing.
