The Georgia Department of Public Health is inviting the public to provide feedback on the Preventive Health and Health Services Block Grant for the federal fiscal year 2024. This grant work plan includes proposed deliverables aimed at improving public health services in the state.
A virtual public hearing will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024, from 10 am – 11 am to gather input from the public. There are various ways to participate in the hearing, either through a computer or mobile device by clicking on the provided link, or by phone using the access code and webinar number provided.
During the public hearing, live comments can be submitted, and questions can also be directed to the block grant coordinator via email. Additionally, written comments are welcome and must be received by the date of the public hearing. This opportunity allows the public to have a voice in shaping the future of preventive health services in Georgia.
