SGMC Health is thrilled to announce the addition of Vivek Yadav, MD, to their health system, specializing in pulmonary and critical care medicine. Dr. Yadav will be seeing patients at SGMC Pulmonology clinic as well as in the hospital setting.
Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine, Dr. Yadav is also board eligible in Critical Care Medicine with over twenty years of experience as a physician. He focuses on treating patients with lung-related conditions and those requiring artificial support for breathing, such as a ventilator.
Dr. Yadav’s approach as a physician is to create a trusting and supportive environment for his patients and their families. He believes in providing compassionate and tailored healthcare to meet their needs and alleviate their suffering.
After receiving his medical degree from Maulana Azad Medical College in India, Dr. Yadav completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Brookdale University Hospital Medical Centre in New York, followed by a fellowship in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine at SUNY Downstate Medical Centre in New York.
Dr. Yadav is excited to join SGMC Health due to their strong community focus and patient-centered approach. He looks forward to contributing to and growing within such a supportive and impactful organization.
