On October 6, 2023, EISMEA released a Call for Proposals for the Single Market Program titled “Proximity and the Social Economy Industrial Ecosystem: Facilitating the Digital Transition of Social Economy Enterprises and Small and Medium Enterprises (Reference: SMP-COSME-2023-SEED)”. In line with the goals outlined in the European Commission’s Communication 2030 Digital Compass – Europe in the Digital Decade, this call aims to support the digital transition and capabilities of SMEs in the socio-economy. This includes capacity-building activities, training, advisory services, joint technology initiatives, and more to enhance their economic, organizational, and impact-related performance. The call also focuses on promoting knowledge transfer and cross-border collaboration among partners, including European, national, and regional business support organizations, incubators, and member federations. By strengthening digital capabilities, these organizations can support their members, customers, and stakeholders in their digital transition and promote social innovation.
