The incident took place in the evening when the policeman crashed into a car carrying a man, a woman, and two children. However, the details of the accident were not included in the official police reports.

According to the report from the portal Danica, the accident occurred at 21:35 in the evening. The off-duty police officer, driving a private car with Osijek registration plates, was traveling on the state road DC517 from Ivanovo when a rabbit suddenly ran onto the road. The officer’s vehicle hit the rabbit, causing the vehicle to veer into the opposite lane and collide with a car with Czech license plates.
