There are growing rumours about Manchester United’s interest in Paulo Dybala, with La Gazzetta dello Sport reporting that the Argentinean is patiently waiting for a call from Roma to hear about their long-term plans. Reports from Argentinean sources had already hinted at Manchester United’s interest in Dybala, and now English sources have confirmed this, placing Dybala on the Red Devils’ agenda.
Dybala has a €13m clause for clubs outside of Serie A, which will be valid for the entire month of July. The former Juventus striker has one year left on his contract with Roma, but this will be automatically extended until 2026 if he meets the 50% appearance requirement during his three-year spell at the club.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Dybala is content to stay at the Stadio Olimpico but is keen to hear from the club about their future plans. Currently in Argentina with his partner Oriana Sabatini, Dybala is set to tie the knot on July 20.
Although Dybala had previously mentioned that leaving Serie A would be challenging for him, he did not rule out the possibility of a move to England or Spain. He remains open to opportunities in these leagues while showing a willingness to continue playing in Italy.
