EA Sports College Football ranks Utah Utes as one of the most challenging teams to face on their home turf

EA Sports’ highly anticipated college football video game is making a comeback after an 11-year hiatus, and it has ranked the home of the Utah Utes as one of the top 25 best home-field advantages in the country. The Utes play at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, which has a capacity of 51,444, and they were the only Big 12 program to make the list.

In 2023, the Utes had a 6-1 home record, with their only loss coming against then-No. 8 Oregon. Over the last three years, Utah has an impressive 18-1 record at home, making them one of the toughest teams to beat on their home turf. With the release of EA Sports College Football 25 just around the corner on July 19, excitement is building for Utah and college football fans.

The top 25 toughest home-field advantages list released by EA Sports includes iconic stadiums like Kyle Field at Texas A&M, Bryant-Denny Stadium at Alabama, and Tiger Stadium at LSU. Rice-Eccles Stadium, the home of the Utah Utes, came in at No. 18 on the rankings, ahead of renowned stadiums like Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin and Iowa’s Kinnick Stadium.

With the upcoming release of EA Sports College Football 25, fans can look forward to experiencing the thrill of playing at some of the toughest and most iconic college football stadiums in the country. Utah’s impressive home-field advantage is sure to add an extra level of excitement to the game for fans of the Utes and college football enthusiasts alike.
