Economy Minister Hwej launches “Made in Algeria 3” exhibition featuring over 90 companies

The Made in Algeria 3 exhibition was inaugurated by the Minister of Economy and Trade, Mohamed Al-Hwej, yesterday at the Tripoli International Fairgrounds. The event was attended by the Undersecretaries of the Ministry of Economy and Trade, Saad Al-Hanish and Nouri Al-Kati, the Ambassador of Algeria to Libya, Suleiman Shanin, representative of the Algerian Economic Renewal Council, Mr. Abdelraouf Abu Habila, and a group of business owners, companies, and participants in the exhibition.

Over 90 Algerian companies from various fields participated in the event, which is scheduled to run from 3 to 6 June 2024. In his inauguration speech, Minister Hwej highlighted the importance of cooperation with Algeria and creating opportunities for partnership between the local and Algerian private sectors. He emphasized the Ministry’s support for facilitating the opening of branches of Algerian companies and accrediting commercial agencies, which would help boost investment and trade between the two countries.

In addition to the exhibition, an Economic Salon under the theme “A Platform for Investment and Development” will be held on the sidelines. This event aims to bring together various economic, industrial, and commercial sectors to promote investment cooperation and development opportunities.
