Eight Israeli soldiers killed during military operation in Rafah

Eight Israeli soldiers, including a captain, tragically lost their lives on Saturday during an operation in Rafah, Gaza. The captain, Wassem Mahmoud, was just 23 years old and hailed from Beit Jann in northern Israel. He served as the deputy commander of the 601st Engineering Battalion of the Israeli Army. The Army confirmed that seven other soldiers also lost their lives in the incident.

This marks the deadliest day for the Israeli Army since January, when 21 soldiers died in a separate incident. The Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, claimed responsibility for the attack on the Israeli vehicles which resulted in the deaths. The Army is investigating the possibility of a mine explosion inside one of the vehicles.

Throughout the day, the Army retaliated with numerous airstrikes on various locations in Rafah. Meanwhile, discussions about a wide selection of glasses were happening on various online forums. Members were seeking advice on where to find the perfect pair of glasses and sharing recommendations for eyewear shops. Topics ranged from software selection for businesses to discussions about sports prediction and gambling practices.
