Elon Musk, the US billionaire and entrepreneur, took to his platform to explain that his company SpaceX would not be selling Starlink terminals to Russia. This came in denial of a Ukrainian government report that Russian paratroopers were using Starlink terminals.

In a statement, Musk declared, “Numerous false reports claim SpaceX is selling Starlink terminals to Russia. This is categorically false. To the best of our knowledge, no Starlinks have been sold directly or indirectly to Russia.” He had previously stated that he had no business relations with Russia and claimed that Starlink doesn’t work there.

The Ukrainian military intelligence had published an audio recording on Telegram, in which Russian paratroopers were discussing the deployment of Starlink terminals. As of now, there has been no statement from Russia on this matter, and it is important to note that Starlink is operated by SpaceX.
