Eric Iverson Joins UTA as Chief Technology Officer

Eric Iverson has been appointed as the chief technology officer at talent agency UTA. He comes to UTA from Amazon MGM Studios, where he managed the product division, user experience, and AI strategy. In his new role, Iverson will lead UTA’s technology strategy and explore how artificial intelligence can be advantageous for clients. He will be stationed at UTA’s headquarters in Beverly Hills.

During his time at Amazon, Iverson played a key role in the establishment of the Next Generation Studio, which utilized cloud-based technology and AI for production purposes. Prior to this, he held positions as the CTO and CIO at talent agency CAA and as the CTO at Sony Pictures Television.

UTA CEO, Jeremy Zimmer, expressed excitement about Iverson’s appointment, praising his expertise in bridging entertainment and technology. Zimmer highlighted the significance of Iverson’s role in a pivotal moment for the agency, emphasizing the importance of integrating artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies to benefit the business. Iverson and his team will focus on developing systems, products, and tools to drive innovation and enhance collaboration as a diverse, global company.
