Highly-touted four-star wide receiver recruit Eugene Hilton has officially committed to playing college football for the Wisconsin Badgers, choosing them over the Georgia Bulldogs. Hilton, who has NFL bloodlines as the son of former NFL player T.Y. Hilton, is a promising prospect at wide receiver and a big addition to Wisconsin’s 2025 recruiting class. The Badgers currently have the No. 12 recruiting class in the nation, with 19 total commitments.
Despite Georgia’s strong recruiting efforts, Hilton’s commitment does not come as a surprise to the Bulldogs, who hold the second-best recruiting class in the SEC. Georgia recently secured a commitment from another four-star wide receiver, Talyn Taylor, and is also in the running for highly-rated recruit CJ Wiley.
Following in his father’s footsteps, T.Y. Hilton, who had a successful NFL career with the Indianapolis Colts, Eugene Hilton is looking to make a name for himself at the college level. The 6-foot-2, 195-pound receiver from Zionsville High School in Indiana is ranked as the No. 395 recruit in the country, the No. 63 wide receiver, and the No. 7 player in Indiana by 247Sports.
Known for his speed and ability to make tough catches, Hilton brings a valuable skill set to the Wisconsin offense. He announced his commitment to the Badgers via social media, marking a significant moment in his football journey. Meanwhile, Georgia and head coach Kirby Smart continue to impress on the recruiting trail, boasting the nation’s No. 4 recruiting class for the 2025 cycle.
