Italy’s national team is currently in Iserlohn, Germany, as they prepare for their EURO 2024 Round of 16 match against Switzerland in Berlin. On Friday morning, the team will train before flying to Berlin from Dortmund airport in the afternoon.
Upon their arrival in the capital, the team will head straight to the Olympiastadion, where a pitch inspection will take place around 18:35. Following that, coach Luciano Spalletti and goalkeeper Gigio Donnarumma will hold a pre-match press conference for the media.
Meanwhile, the Switzerland team is also training on Friday morning at Waldau in Stuttgart. Their coach Murat Yakin and a Swiss player will hold their own pre-match press conference at 19:45 CET at the Olympiastadion in Berlin, after Italy’s press conference.
Italy finished as runners-up in Group B with four points, narrowly avoiding elimination thanks to a late goal against Croatia. Switzerland, on the other hand, finished second in Group A behind host country Germany.
