Everfox, a cybersecurity firm backed by TPG, has agreed to acquire Garrison Technology Ltd, a London-based cybersecurity company. Garrison was founded in 2014 by CEO David Garfield and Chief Scientist Henry Harrison. Citi served as financial advisor to Everfox on the deal. Based in Fort Worth, Texas, TPG was founded in 1992.
Headquartered in Herndon, Virginia, Everfox, formerly known as Forcepoint Federal, specializes in providing cybersecurity solutions. The acquisition of Garrison Technology Ltd will enhance Everfox’s capabilities in addressing cyber threats for the defense and intelligence communities. The deal was made to strengthen global resilience against cyber attacks from sophisticated actors.
TPG partner Tim Millikin highlighted the increasing complexity of the operating environment for defense and intelligence communities due to growing cyber threats. He emphasized that Garrison’s unique technology, combined with Everfox’s expertise in government security, will create a powerful solution.
