Everton secures Ashley Young’s services with contract extension

Ashley Young has signed a new contract with Everton, extending his stay at Goodison Park for another year. Despite approaching his 39th birthday, Young has been a key player for Everton, making 31 appearances in the Premier League during the 2023/24 season.

Speaking to evertontv, Young expressed his delight at signing the new deal, describing it as a “no-brainer” for him. He credited the manager and Kevin Thelwell for their role in the decision-making process, as they both expressed their desire for him to stay at the club.
