Exciting Hands-On Activities Await at Rockville Science Day on April 21

Rockville Science Day is set to take place on April 21 from noon to 5 p.m. This annual event, sponsored by the Rockville Science Center, will be held at Montgomery College located at 51 Mannakee Street in Rockville. Attendees can look forward to engaging in a wide range of STEM activities offered by over 100 exhibitors.

The event will feature hands-on learning opportunities related to science and technology through games, demonstrations, and activities. Participants can engage in activities such as rocket building and launching, telescope viewing, robotics, exploring backyard wildlife, examining ship models, using microscopes, encountering snakes, learning about Civil War medical practices, coding, math explorations, chemical demonstrations, archaeology, and 3-D printing.

Exhibitors include notable organizations such as the National Institutes of Health, NASA, National Human Genome Research Institute, National Cryptologic Museum, National Institutes of Standards and Technology, Chemical Society of Washington, National Capital Astronomers, and many more. Food will be available for purchase, and the event will be held rain or shine.
