The Indianapolis Colts have been named as one of the four finalists for ESPN’s 2024 Sports Humanitarian Team of the Year ESPY Award. This is the second year in a row that the Colts have been chosen as a finalist for this prestigious honor.
The nomination highlights the Colts’ work through Kicking The Stigma, an initiative that has donated over $30 million towards local and national mental health awareness, research, and treatment programs since it was established in 2020. To learn more about Kicking The Stigma, visit their website.
The Sports Humanitarian Team of the Year award is presented at the ESPY Awards each year to a sports team that demonstrates how teamwork can have a positive impact on a community or cause. In addition to the Colts, the other finalists for 2024 include the NWSL’s Angel City FC, the NBA’s Miami Heat, and the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles.
