The Tulsa World is once again recognizing the top high school athletes in the Tulsa area by presenting the All-World Awards for winter sports. The finalists for boys and girls swimming will be announced on Wednesday. Boys and girls wrestling finalists will be revealed on Thursday, followed by boys basketball on Friday and girls basketball on Saturday. The World’s All-State boys and girls basketball teams will be announced on Sunday.
Last fall, athlete of the year finalists in football, cross country, volleyball, and softball were announced. The 2023-24 All-World honors will be awarded in several sports including football, softball, volleyball, girls cross country, and boys cross country. In early June, finalists for spring sports will be announced along with winners of specialty awards for best comeback, inspirational, and scholar athletes, as well as a lifetime achievement award recipient.
The winners for athletes of the year in each sport will be revealed at the eighth annual All-World Awards, presented by Bill Knight Automotive, on June 20 at the Cox Business Convention Center’s Legacy Hall.
