First Stanley Cup claimed by Panthers after beating Oilers

However, this year, the Panthers managed to beat the Edmonton Oilers to win the Stanley Cup for the first time in their franchise history. Evan Rodrigues, who assisted in Verhaeghe’s goal, emphasized the difficulty of winning the Stanley Cup but praised the team for their hard work.
