Five national TV games announced for 2024 NFL preseason schedule

The NFL has officially announced the preseason schedule for the 2024 season, featuring five games that will be broadcast nationally. The preseason kicks off on Thursday, August 1 with the Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio, between the Texans and Bears at 8 p.m. on ESPN and ABC.

Week Two of the preseason will showcase the Saints and 49ers on Sunday, August 18 at 8 p.m. on Fox. Week Three will have three national TV games: Colts vs. Bengals on Prime Video on Thursday, August 22 at 8 p.m., and two games on Sunday, August 25 – Cardinals vs. Broncos on CBS at 4:30 and Patriots vs. Commanders on NBC at 8.

The full preseason schedule includes matchups like Carolina vs. New England and Detroit vs. N.Y. Giants on Thursday, August 8, as well as Atlanta vs. Miami and Houston vs. Pittsburgh on Friday, August 9. Saturday, August 10 will feature games like Washington vs. N.Y. Jets and Las Vegas vs. Minnesota. On Sunday, August 11, fans can watch Denver vs. Indianapolis and Dallas vs. L.A. Rams.

As for Week 2, fans can look forward to games like Philadelphia vs. New England on Thursday, August 15, and Atlanta vs. Baltimore on Saturday, August 17. Week 3 will feature matchups including Indianapolis vs. Cincinnati on Thursday, August 22 and San Francisco vs. Las Vegas on Friday, August 23. The preseason wraps up on Sunday, August 25 with games like Tennessee vs. New Orleans, Arizona vs. Denver, and New England vs. Washington.
