Former Alabama DL Isaiah Buggs Released by Kansas City Chiefs

Isaiah Buggs, a former Alabama Crimson Tide defensive lineman, became a free agent on Monday after the Kansas City Chiefs decided to part ways with him. This decision came after Buggs was arrested multiple times during the 2024 offseason in Tuscaloosa. Buggs entered the NFL in 2019 when he was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers. Since then, he has played for the Steelers, Detroit Lions, Las Vegas Raiders, and Chiefs. Throughout his career, Buggs has recorded 89 tackles, two sacks, and one forced fumble.

The news of Buggs’ release was announced by Tom Pelissero on Twitter, stating that the Chiefs informed him of their decision to release him. Roll Tide Wire will continue to monitor the status of former Alabama football players in the NFL for any updates and developments.
