Former Nebraska baseball players face off in pitching battle in MLB

Two former Nebraska baseball players faced off in a pitching duel in Baltimore at the professional level. On Wednesday night, Cade Povich took the mound for the Orioles in his second career start, while Spencer Schwellenbach pitched for the Braves in his third career start. Both pitchers lasted 6.0 innings in the game.

Baltimore came out on top with a 4-2 win over Atlanta, with Povich playing a key role in securing the victory. Povich threw a total of 89 pitches, with 63 of them being strikes.
